Work Experience

I volunteered to give an Arts in Action workshop in 2017, to students from St John Lloyd Catholic Comprehensive School. This involved me teaching the students about the importance of objects, how to create different studio’s, how photoshop works, and the art of origami making. This experience is useful for when I become a teacher in the future.

I have currently done Work Experience with Carl Ryan, local Swansea Fashion and Sports Photographer. The shoots take place outside in the Swansea countryside as well as within his movable Photographic Studio. I am not sure if I will follow this fashion medium into the future, but it is a good chance to improve my Portraiture skills. The Work Experience took place throughout  2016.

I worked with Tom Proudfoot, a club photographer, for five days in Peppermint and Bamboo in Swansea during 2014. It was an enjoyable experience. I hope to pursue this medium in the future.

I worked experienced with Sara Holden, an Environmental Artist, for five days between 2008-2011. I went once to work in a primary school, which I enjoyed, whilst spending the majority of the remaining days working on site, beaches.
